So the time came I needed a new roof recently, I got estimates from multiple companies, but decided on Fahey due to the way Josh presented himself when he came to give me the estimate (estimates were fairly close in price). He was arrived on time, was professional and answered any questions we had. There were some delays in getting materials for them to start the job, however that was not Fahey's fault. Plus everyone apologized for the delays on multiple occasions. Shauna, in the office, was quick to respond to emails regarding any questions or concerns I had, especially about when materials were coming and the job was to begin. When the guys arrived to begin work, they were very polite and professional. They also indulged my dad with his questions and showed him what wood needed to be replaced. They explained things to me as well. They cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned up more than their mess. After getting 3 quotes, all 3 were similar but the gentleman quoting the roof told me that they drug test their employees, the other 2 companies do not. He also said his lead roofer Santiago has been with the company for 20 years. And, from reading reviews and word of mouth, we chose Fahey. They come highly recommended. When they showed up the 1st day, the immediately started working and made very fast work of removing all the old shingles, etc., and starting putting shingles on that same day! The literally worked 12 hours both days they were at our house. The quality of work and the finished product looks very professional. My flat top tar/rubber roof was at the end of its lifespan and had holes in it that was allowing a substantial amount of water to enter my home, causing understandably unacceptable amounts of water damage. I contacted Fahey mid-week and had a gentleman out for an estimate by Friday. He was knowledgeable, professional, and offered me a very fairly priced estimate for the work that needed done. Weather permitting, it took about a week for the workers to come out. They too were professional, kind, and hardworking - finishing the job in two day-long sessions. After the work was completed, I have since examined their work, am very pleased, and have had no further water intrusions into my home. I just had my second roof completed by Fahey Roofing. My first experience was in 2012 when the derecho hit. Josh Fahey is wonderful to work with! His roofers are perfectionists. I walk out to the street every night just to look back and admire our new roof. The experience we had with the crew was unbelievable. I personally was a roofer as a young man so I had to watch everything and the men tolerated me being in the way and asking questions. The equipment was top of the line , the crew never stopped the whole time and I called them a fine oiled machine ! Josh was down to earth and explained everything from start to finish. Daniel stayed late one evening just to be safe for possible rain. Note ; they check the radar throughout the day just incase. The entire process was excellent. I recently had a roof put on by another company that did a terrible job. Fahey roofing contacted me within 48 hours of the original call and made my house livable again. The roofing process from tearing the old roof off to putting the new one on and clean up took about 10 hours. That included replacing 120 feet of broken wood. The crew leader, Matt, texted me photos of their progress throughout the whole job to ensure the work and make sure I didn't have any issues. We contracted with Fahey Roofing to replace shingles and guttering on our house in August 2018. The receptionist was friendly and quickly set up a meeting with the owner for a free estimate, and he met me at my home right on time and did a thorough inspection of the roof including climbing up on top and measuring everything. He also went up into my attic with me to look at some repair work I needed done where some rafters had sagged due to long spans and needed some reinforcing work. He took the time to explain what they could do to fix that problem then brought me some brochures for the roofing materials and told me he'd have an estimate for me the next morning. I had the estimate by mid-morning and a couple of days later we met, signed the contract, and agreed to a timeframe when the work would start. On the first day a crew of six or seven workers came and stripped all of the old materials off the roof and worked very, very hard that day (at least 12 hours) and repaired the area above the garage and made a lot of progress on installing underlayment materials and the shingles. The next day they returned, worked about five hours, and essentially finished the job except for some minor details which were completed in a couple of hours the next working day. (For reference on size of our roof, it required approximately 45 "squares" of shingles. I believe a square is 100 square feet.) The production manager was on site during all key work and did a great job and went well above and beyond our expectations of keeping us informed and answering any questions we had. The crew seemed knowledgeable and competent, and the owner visited the job a couple of times the first day. The crew kept our yard and the area around our house very clean and ran magnets to pick up nails around the house many times during the work process and before they left. We were very satisfied with the roofing job and have received many compliments on how nice the roof looks. We've had a couple of good rains since the roof has been on and it seems to be doing just fine. The guttering crew also came on the day the guys were wrapping up the roofing details and they did a great job on installing the gutters. All in all we are very satisfied with the work Fahey Roofing did for us and would not hesitate to recommend them for roofing or guttering.read more

I noticed my roof was damaged when I was doing some work in the attic on a Wednesday. I called Fahey roofing and he came on short notice the next day. His estimate was fair and sent in a timely manner. It’s been a rainy summer, and I was worried about leaks. I had to leave town on Friday. Josh was nice enough to do the job without me there. He sent pictures and videos documenting the repair. He used top quality material, using a ridge vent over foam. Josh and his office staff are very professional. I would highly recommend him without any reservations for your roofing needs.read more

Outstanding company with outstanding customer service. The crew showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. Did a tear off and redecking and shingle install all in one day. I can not say enough good things about Josh and his crew of guys. They left the job site "my yard" in better shape than when they first arrived in the morning. They even folded the tarps that I had on my roof for protection prior to them arriving. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a roof or gutters and other services that they offer.read more

Fahey Roofing did a wonderful job replacing our roof and in a very timely and efficient manner! Quality of workmanship is superb and the entire crew are as polite and courteous as anyone could hope for, just really nice guys and hard workers!
